For low-pore concrete in exposed concrete quality
Our ALPHALITH® Porex FE (BV) and ALPHALITH® Porex DF 50 (BV) air-detraining agents ensure fast and intensive bleeding of concrete.
Air-detraining agents prevent the entry of air bubbles during the mixing process and when the concrete is poured. Any remaining residual air will be almost entirely pushed out during compaction.
With proper composition and compaction, our concrete bleeding products produce concrete with a very low residual pore content and high structural density.

Air-detraining agents are used for the production of almost pore-free concrete components, especially with:
washed | blasted | polished | tumbled | acidified
surfaces as a concrete admixture.

ALPHALITH®
ALPHALITH® Porex HC
Product:
ALPHALITH® Porex HC is a special admixture for fast and almost complete detraining of air from concrete. The amount of pores in the concrete is reduced to a minimium.
ALPHALITH® Porex HC may not be used in concrete with specified air content, e.g. together with an air-entraining admixture.
Features:
ALPHALITH® Porex HC prevents the entrainment of air into the concrete during the process of mixing and placing of concrete, remaining air bubbles are almost completely eliminated. When the concrete is properly designed, placed and compacted the use of ALPHALITH® Porex HC results in a concrete structure with minimized pore content.
This will usually result in:
- improved surface texture
- reduced tendency to efflorescence
- reduced tendency to dirt adhesion
Field of Application:
ALPHALITH® Porex FE (BV) is suitable for the production of:
- plates
- steps
- troughs
- components for street furniture
- masonry units | precast units
- concrete with highest exposed concrete quality
- highly pigmented concrete mixtures
- concretes with tendency to increased pore and foam formation on the filling side
ALPHALITH® Porex FE (BV)
